Although there are French speaking people in almost all parts of the globe, 
certain countries are known for their Francophones.  An easy way to find 
a list of these countries is to search for an organization called the Francophonie:

• Francophonie
• Yahoo.fr has a list of countries
• Google.com also has an international version of its great search engine
• Voila is an excellent search engine in French
• Outre-mer site
• Monde-diplomatique
• Refer.org

• Webencyclo a French encyclopedia, is good.  When asked for an e-mail address, make one up such as yourname@example.com.  Don't use your real or full name.  @example.com is a research address which will never come back to haunt you.
